Welcome to The RVibe! We’re JR & Renee. We recently retired at 60, and now we’re obsessed with helping people like you trade the view from an office window for the view of a breathtaking mountain sunrise.
We’ve learned that the RV lifestyle is about more than just travel; it’s about freedom, community, and unforgettable adventures. Now that we have the time to travel, we’re passionate about paying it forward. We created The RVibe to be the friendly, practical guide we wish we’d had when we started, helping you confidently join this amazing community and start your own journey.
Our Story: How a Dream Became The RVibe
It all started back in 2021. We were working demanding jobs, stuck in the daily grind of commutes and weekends that felt too short. We craved something more—a life filled with experience instead of stuff, with sunsets instead of screen time.
Our “aha!” moment hit us in a pull-thru site in Tucson, just hours after a disastrous RV pickup. We’d driven six hours to Phoenix during the COVID pandemic because finding a fifth-wheel anywhere else was impossible. What was supposed to be a thorough 60-minute walk-through at the dealer lasted less than ten minutes. As brand-new RVers, we were left confused and overwhelmed.
We nervously pulled away, heading to an RV resort to try and figure it all out. But once we were finally parked, we just stared at each other. “What do we do next?” The massive amount of information online was contradictory and lacked the friendly, real-world advice we desperately needed in that moment.
Right there, the mission for The RVibe was born: to become the clear, trustworthy, and inspiring resource we wished we had.
